We are extremely displeased to announce that the December 1st Starland Ballroom CD release show has been postponed. The damage that the club suffered from hurricane Sandy was worse than they thought and as some of you have seen they are either cancelling, postponing, or moving all shows that they had left in 2012. They have to re do and re wire almost everything. We feel terrible for them and all that have suffered throughout this event that has impacted so many. In the grand scheme of things this is a minor setback, as for so many they lost everything.
We were hoping we would have a new date when we made this announcement but unfortunately we do not, yet. They told us that it will most likely end up being in early March (gasp, i know) They have a bunch of shows to reschedule but they promised us a date as early as possible, so as soon as we know the new date we will let you know. All tickets bought for December 1st will be honored for the new date.
We feel the worst for all of you that have made travel plans, taken off of work and moved their lives around to be at this show. We have the greatest fans in the world. They fly, drive, walk, jet ski their way across the country to come see us and it means the world to us, and we feel so bad but it truly is out of our control. This was a national disaster.
This also means we have to push back the release of Fire at Zero Gravity. Not something we are pleased about either, but it actually is a blessing in disguise. It gives us more time to set up the album a bit more properly and get it out there to as many of you as possible!!! As a way to make up for it we plan on releasing at least one song for free download and another new one for you guys to stream in the meantime. We are also in the process of booking shows in the New York, Pennsylvania, Boston, Connecticut areas. We plan on doing shows as early as January leading up to the Starland Show, and we will be playing lots of new material. Again we apologize for this setback. We did everything in our power to push and fight adversity to get this record out this year but in the end the universe said NO! We love you all and Hope to see you at the shows!
